Return Policies
We inspect everything we send out to make sure that it is free of manufacturing defects, however, we sometimes miss something!
If you receive your order and discover a manufacturing defect - e.g., the pages in a book are upside down, there is rot on your brush tip once you soak it, the paper in a seal package is stained, torn or otherwise unusable-we ask that you contact us by fax or email to notify us of this and then return the item to us so we can exchange it for another of the same item.
We will ship the replacement item at no cost, once we have received the original flawed item which we need to have so that we can show it to our supplier and insure that such things don't happen again.
We do not refund the return shipping of defective merchandise.
We do not give store credit or cash refunds on items.
Shipping Policies
We ship all items via Fed Ex. Delivery time is stated by Fed Ex as 2 or 3 days - but we know this to be variable depending on where in the country the parcel is being shipped.
If your order is to be shipped overseas, or if you have purchased some heavy products (such as paper weights) there may be additional shipping charges. If so, we will send you an invoice for the additional amount due payable via PayPal, who handles all of our financial transactions on the web. You will receive an email request for payment from PayPal, not Green Jade Japanese Art Supply. Your order will be shipped as soon as you make your payment.
If you are purchasing an expensive piece of art and wish us to ship it insured please let us know when you place your order.
