We found these during a trip to Japan and simply fell in love with them! These unique portable shikishi holders give the look of a traditional scroll with the convenience of being able to change the picture at any time.

The center holder is clear plastic to protect your work, bordered with a dark blue, gold stamped material at the top and bottom. The upper paper is a pale olive green stamped with an attractive traditional pattern. The loop at top a small section of brown ribbon

On the outside of the holder is a white, gold-flecked title bar for you to record the title of your work.

Unlike similar shikishi holders that roll up instead of fold up, there's no extra weight or wooden dowel to deal with. This holder can be folded up for storage, transportation or shipping without any fuss. Fits in almost any suitcase, briefcase, or handbag.
